Nike has unveiled the fifth signature shoe for Kevin Durant. The shoe, the KD V, combines inspirational cues drawn from Durant’s personal journey with symbolism for the number five featured throughout the design. The new design also represents Durant’s smooth and fluid style of play and integrates four pieces of shoe technology:
- a Nike Zoom unite in the forefoot
- Nike Air unit in the heel
- unibody Hyperfuse upper construction for superior fit
- external heel counter to allow the foot to move while still providing support
The KD V that you see above will be released on December 8th and will be available in the Bright Crimson colorway and Black/Blue colorway. If you don’t want to wait, then starting on November 6th, you’ll be able to customize this shoe on NIKEiD. [Link]
