Foldable.Me Launches Today

Six months ago, I mentioned about Mint Digital’s KICKSTARTER project, Foldable.Me, where backers pledged for a chance to create papercraft versions of themselves.  Well the project has successfully exceeded its initial goal by ten folds.  And as of today, the site is live so we can all start creating 4 inch tall paper versions of ourselves or even our friends and family.  Based off the Cubeecraft papercraft model by Chris Beaumont, Foldable.me is completely hassle-free as each custom Foldable.me comes pre-scored and precut in matt laminate cardboard.

As far as customizations goes, there are 19 noses, 14 facial hair selections, 7 face types and several other key features that makes creating the mini you a cinch. Having done a test run, I was able to create a mini Van with clear wayfarer glasses, short shaggy hair and checkered flannel shirt.  This about sums up my boring day to day ensemble.  The next step is to finalize the ordering process and wait two week for the easy peasy assemble foldable.me to arrive.  Wanna give it a try?  Foldable.me runs for only $11.99 with worldwide shipping included.
