I’ve been seriously debating for the past month or so on whether I was going to buy the Sony RX100 or the Panasonic LX-7 as my everyday carry around camera. Well, Sony recently threw a wrench into those plans when they announced the RX1, a “compact” digital camera that packs a 24.3MP Exmor CMOS sensor. The camera is one of a few that offers a full-frame package in such a compact body. It’s no slouch on the lens either, rocking a Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2.0 prime lens. So much sexy on this, it’s hard to fully describe in words. The camera won’t be cheap though as it’s expected to be priced at around $2,800 and expected to hit stores in November.
