Designed by artist Caitlind r.c. Brown for Nuit Blanche Calgary is an interactive light installation named after what it appears to be, a cloud. Hosted at Olympic Plaza Park this past September 15th, the tree like structure invited passerby’s to pull on the chains to turn on and off the 1000 working lights. Additionally, 5000 donated burnt bulbs aided in mimicking the flickering of a stormy cloud. Nuit Blanche was a late night arts festival that lasted from 7pm to 3am. Unfortunately for a lot of us, we couldn’t enjoy it in person. However, I did find this video that covers the installations from that evening here.
