Glamour is relative / Ugliness is graphic
-Guillaume Briere
I’m in love with several of Guillaume Briere’s prints. They’re glamorous, raw, and have a tragic aura that is masked by Briere’s Andy Warhol-esque pop culture designs.
Briere is a fashion illustrator and graphic designer who’s inspired by several glamourous yet tragic starlets such as Patsy Stone, Cruella Devil, Lady Gaga, and Courtney Love. Although he’s clearly talented at both illustration and graphic design, it’s his fashion illustrations that really steal the show. The juxtaposition of his fashion illustrations between his blocky pop culture designs, highlights the finesse and detail-orientated nature of his illustration.
