Ukiyo-e Style Classic Video Game Prints, the KICKSTARTER project

As mentioned back in June, artist Jed Henry, has launched a KICKSTARTER project in order to create a whole series of woodblock prints as well as offer backers giclees from the series.  The tiers of rewards are pretty amazing starting with a pdf coloring book for ten bucks. Digital giclees are anywhere between the $40-135 tiers and of course the higher the bid, wooden block prints are available rewards as well.  In my opinion, one of the best pledges is the $180 tier where you get one wooden block print, one digital giclee and a chibi (small) print. Or for $110, Street Fighter fans can order themselves the triptych print set, “Battle in the Bath House”. There’s still 22 days left until this project ends and the response to this project has been phenomenal. If you’re into art prints, Japan, video games and perhaps even ukiyo-e style artwork, this KICKSTARTER project is for you.
