Joel Cooper’s Origami Mask and Tessellations

Taking a single sheet of paper, artist Joel Cooper makes intricate paper tessellations and origami masks.  It’s highly commendable that none of his origami sculptures require gluing or cutting.  However, each piece is unique due to hand-painted, dyed or stained with polyurethane, acrylic or shellac finishes.  More of Coopers work can be seen on his Flickr and for those interested, his work can be purchased on his Etsy.
