Obsession de la Semaine: Acne ‘Ruth Twisted’ Sweater
Welcome to another edition of Obsession de la Semaine exclaiming my love for Sweden and the Swedish fashion house, Acne. In particular, the amazing ‘Ruth Twisted’ sweater. The sweater first caught my eye when Sabrina Meijer (bloggeuse behind afterDRK) had worn it in an outfit post. I’m a huge sweater fanatic so it was the first thing that caught my eye. This was a couple of months ago and of course, the sweater was no longer available for purchase. Lately, I’ve been checking Acne’s website more often in preparation of my trip to Stockholm and luckily, the sweater is now back online and ready to be purchased by fashionistas all over the world.
The ‘Ruth Twisted’ sweater may seem like a regular knit sweater, but in fact, it’s much more than that. The cropped design and the pleat in the back add a little somethin’-somethin’ to an otherwise basic sweater. Party in the back, yo! If you’re one of the lucky people who’ve got a money tree growing in your backyard, you can purchase the Acne sweater for a mere $290USD. That’s currently out of my budget, but I’ll definitely keep dreaming of this sweater until it’s mine.
