Two words: gold lamé. If you’re looking for a new pair of work-to-disco trousers (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?) cast your sexy lil’ gaze on this amazing pair of pants by South Korean label pushBUTTON.
PushBUTTON was started by Seung-Gun Park in 2003 after the self-taught designer was bored with what was available in fashion. The quirky designs have found its way into high-fashion mags like Vogue and W, and have developed quite a strong international following among young, wild “it” girls.
These gold cigarette pants are from pushBUTTON’s fall/winter 2011 collection. They’re made of shiny textured polyester fabric, and feature side pockets and a zip waist closure. The fit is slightly roomier in the thigh and a tapered leg that hits above the ankle.
On cooler end-of-summer days, start wearing these too-hot-for-the-closet pants with chunky summer wedges and casual tank tops tucked-in, or cropped tees and tanks. As the weather cools down, think of pairing the pants with quirkier, playful pieces, like animal-printed blouses, Peter Pan collars, shrunken sweaters, and heeled oxfords or creepers.
These pushBUTTON trousers are available at Pixie Market for $239.
