Even though its bleeding edge technology, a lot of us would prefer tactile over touchscreen controls when it comes to gaming on the iPhone. To date, we’ve seen buttons and joysticks that adhere to the iPhone 4. But for a more streamlined look, here’s an excellent idea. Designer Alan Li’s iPhone Gaming Pod wears many hats including protective case, button with joypad and also includes external speakers for the “full gaming experience”. Let’s hope Alan gets the ball rolling on this design as he should have no problems with obtaining crowdfunding.
