Too Hot Not to Cop: Anthropologie Intimates
Anthropologie is one of my fave one-stop shops for whimsical, feminine, vintage inspired womenswear, accessories and home decor. The shop’s rotating stock of detail-driven, quality goods is consistent and covet-worthy. While the shop is not an expert in any one area, their intimates selection has been growing and is great for the woman who wants to feel sexy without all of the crazy va-va-voom accessories.
This Empire State Set speaks to my point directly. The two piece set is simple and playful. While I have no doubt that it must be much more comfortable to lounge around and sleep in than say, some sort of silky, lacy bustier, this kind of lingerie is just as sexy. The set, which is made from 100% silk, definitely has a nautical meets art deco sorta vibe. I love the airy whites and blues for summer and the floaty, ethereal feel this set has. Details such as the fabric buttons on both the top and shorts also give it a handle-with-care, vintage look.
The pieces are sold seperately but total for just over $100. I’m a big proponent of treating yourself to lovely intimates (rather than shlepping around in an old pair of oversized sweats and t-shirt) for the sweetest dreams!
