Alice in Potholelands
In the afterglow of the successful and well received POTHOLES exhibit at the Soho Photo Gallery in New York City, Claudia Ficca & Davide Luciano are at it again.
Set amidst the numerous Manhattan potholes, the dynamic duo pay homage to Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic Alice in Wonderland. Inspired by Tim Burton’s unique 3D rendition featuring Johnny Depp, the idea came naturally to use a pothole as Alice’s portal to wonderland. The pair will be completing the New York leg of their pothole series in the following months.
