It’s been a minute since I’ve seen any of David LaChapelles work, but it looks like Maybach has brought him on to shoot their latest campaign. The two photos for the ad campaign are titled “Exposure of Luxury” and “Berlin Stories”. The model, car that is, is the Maybach Zeppelin limited special edition.

David LaChapelle was discovered by Andy Warhol and in these pieces it’s Warhol, whom he follows in the footsteps of. Warhol created a 35-part series for Daimler back in 1986 entitled “Cars”. Check the gallery below for the rest of the pictures and a photo of the other ad that was shot. Personally, I don’t get it, but I like that it isn’t your typical car ad. What do you think?
