The song kicked off officially yesterday, though some caught wind of it the day before that. I wanted to avoid posting until something official came down, and to my surprise I woke up with an email from Sade’s PR team. Here’s the new official single from Sade called “Soldier of Love”, co-produced by Mike Pela. Sade wrote this song with longtime collaborators Andrew Hale, Stuart Matthewman and Paul Spencer Denman. Her album, same name as lead-off single, Soldier of Love, is set to drop on February 8th and will be her first studio album since Lovers Rock came out in 2000.
