Ever since Lisa Smiley’s ‘Slider Cupcakes‘, I’ve been loosely following all kinds of food blogs with hungry eyes.  Recently while surfing Tastespotting, I came across these highly detailed and delectable sushi inspired cupcakes by Ms. Humble of Not So Humble Pie.  With coal black coarse sanding sugar, sheet cake, sprinkles  and fondant, Ms. Humble was able to replicate nigiri shrimp and other rolls.  I especially love how piping gel was used to glaze the shrimp to give it a more realistic look.  If these piqued your interest, definitely head over to Not So Humble Pie to feast your eyes on Ms. Humble’s other tasty creations.
