DJ AM’s very own Dunk Hi Premiums simply leave me speechless. From the choice of colorways to materials, this is a flawless pair of Dunks. The perforation on the heel represent the dots on a turntable platter while the heel tab and toebox are treated with black patent leather. Without looking too technical and busy, I’m reminded of an old Technics turntable meets Air Force 1-like sneaker tee (by Kiks Tyo I think?). As far as my taste goes, I’m usually sold when there is 3m on Nike footwear. Nike Swoosh in 3m? Check. Other than all other areas filled with red leather, a black with white mid and outsole, the grand finale is a DJ AM’s AC/DC-esque tongue logo. With the final pics out all over the blogosphere, you can bet a lot of sneakerheads are dying to find out when a US drop will occur.
