Devon Mingling Wang’s Oxygen of Green Low Table

There are a numerous amount of ingenius “Green” inventions in concept and production stage nowadays.  Devon Mingling Wang’s coffee table is definitely one such invention that has caught my eyes.  His “Oxygen of Green Low Table” has a partition filled with the air plant known as Tillandsias.  Unlike most plants, Tillandsias are self sustained and do not need need to be watered.  Instead it fuels itself by absorbing moisture from the air within your dwelling.  To my surprise this includes dust, decaying leaves from other plants and insect matter.  I don’t know about you, but I’d love to see Wang’s table make it past production stage.  Or at least seen at a showroom somewhere in the near future.
