Marlies Romberg’s wooden computer workstation makes a very interesting conversation piece where today’s technology is partnered up with antiquated design. Eventhough, no technical specs were given, the ‘Dear Diary 1.0‘ workstation is fully functional with monitor, two button mouse (which reminds me of Colecovision’s remote for some reason) and a keyboard. I’d have to say the flushed keyboard and hidden cpu with lock and key are two of the most impressive features. Whereas the keyboard is flat out cool, the cpu defines a sense of privacy. Ms. Romberg has also designed a usb jumpdrive with a signet furthering the old meets new theme.
