As we approach the scorching heat in July, many music lovers will be going to outdoor concerts and festivals throughout the summer. Last weekend, Vogue’s (Style.com) photographer Alistair Guy attended Glastonbury and took photos from the festival. Much to our surprise, it did not rain at Glastonbury this year!
Most concerts will go on (rain or shine) and if you are unfortunate to experience mother nature’s raft during a concert, I would highly recommend that you take the styling tips from the fashionable Glastonbury attendees. You’ll recognize a few familiar faces (models, musicians, socialites) in these photos.
On the east coast, we have been experiencing anything but dry weather. It has rained for several weeks, leaving me to feel as though I was in Seattle. The humidity in the northeastern hemisphere hasn’t hit us as of yet, however, you can bet that I will be prepared with rain boots if the forecast calls for rain during the day of a concert.
Simple Pieces for Outdoor Concerts/Festivals
Cut-off shorts, jumpsuits, mini dresses, rain boots, sandals, umbrellas and sunscreen. Sunglasses is also a must!
