Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen director Michael Bay released a statement earlier in the week from Japan. In it he confirmed that his latest flick will include 42! massive fighting robots in all. This is a huge jump from the first flick which introduced audiences to the robots in disguise on the big screen. In his statement he also revealed that if you go and check out the flick in IMAX, you’ll be treated to some extended fighting scenes exclusively shot for the gigantic screen. He also stated that he’s been holding back a ton from the trailers because the film is meant to be seen on the biggest screen you can find.

Sounds pretty damn big to me, but should we all be investing our cash into IMAX? Cause I mean really, it’s friggin huge and it hurts my neck after a while…
