Dubai must be the architect’s playground as we continually see amazing structures being built in the UAE. Recently Beijing’s MAD Ltd, was commissioned by the Al Rostamini Group to redesign their headquarters. The unique structure is lifted by 9 diagonal tubes. 4 of which will provide means for transportation between levels. The tubes also provide peace of mind with a clear view of the lush forest and water front. On a different note, I enjoyed a comment on ArchDaily comparing this building to the likes of an iMac.
