Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2009 ready-to-wear show featured many styles of ripped denim in Paris. David Lerner has taken this concept and kicked it up a notch by creating two designs of ripped leggings. The ripped denim trend from the grunge era is back, in both denim and spandex/nylon.
The “Half ripped Leggings” are sliced at the thigh and cut on one side below the ankle.
I would rock the “half ripped leggings”. However, I wouldn’t rock the other pair, “ripped leggings”.

Those are a direct copy knock-off of Mark and Estel’s Shredded Leggings (they even have some called Ripped Leggings)..they have been doing those for 4 years..Mary Kate first wore them
