MediCom’s Be@rbrick Series 18
I’m always surprised by MediCom’s Be@rbrick up and coming releases. For every numeric series, a complete set contains a horror, sci-fi, flag, jellybean (translucent), patterned, cute, animal, artist and a basic Be@rbrick. Series 18 features familiar icons such as a Terminator T-600, SpongeBob Square Pants, Hello Kitty and Stimpy. Artist wise, we see another Medicom x Tokidoki collabo effort. And a bit of googling helped me unravel the “Japanese Gentlemen Stand Up Please” outfitted Be@rbrick as a reference to the 70s electropop band, Yellow Magic Orchestra. Series 18 will be available this summer and if you’re not already a collector, Ningyoushi.com is a great place to start.
