Marshall Mashumaro is a new designer toy developed by Chicago’s designer toy store, Rotofugi; productive development specialists, Squibbles Ink; and Michigan based artists, 64 Colors. Prior to the toys becoming a reality, I remember first stumbling across Marshall as a series of art prints. Back then, I was thinking how great the prints would translate into designer toys. I also had a good chuckle at how Marshall’s expressions reminded me of Mori Chack’s Gloomy Bear and Pity. Retailing at $10.95, Marshall will be sold as a blind box assortment with a total of 19 available figures. They should be available at Rotofugi and other designer toy boutiques really soon.
