Remember Grindhouse, that double feature flick put together by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez back in 07? Tarantino gave Kurt Russel some much needed attention with Death Proof and Rodriguez bloodied up a Texan suburb with his zombie romp Planet Terror. As great interesting as those flicks were, I thought the best part about Grindhouse was the mock movie trailers thrown in before and in between the double feature.

It seems Rodriguez agrees and has signed on to direct a full feature length version of Machete starring Danny Trejo as the title character. Some memorable moments from the trailer include the amazing voice over and the ingenuity to attach a machine gun to the front of a motorcycle.

Rodriguez has already written the script and I would assume Trejo will reprise his role as Machete. Check the trailer below.
