Since busting down the doors of pop culture in the early 90’s with Beavis and Butthead, Mike Judge’s choices have been a bit up and down. King of the Hill is, and always will be “that show that isn’t The Simpsons,” and his never-seen-hardly-heard-of flick Idiocracy is good but only if you can find it. Then he changed the world. His first feature Office Space still speaks to almost every adult who has been stuck in a cube at some point in their career and it looks like his next feature Extract could have a similar effect.

Without jumping to any conclusions (I’m hesitant to say ANYTHING would be good starring Ben Affleck), I think Extract looks like it has the potential. With a great cast (sans Affleck) consisting of Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis and JK Simmons, Judge may have found his next Office Space. But again, the jury is out on this one because his comedy is hit and miss.
