Latest video from another new favorite band of mine, Chairlift, and wouldn’t you know it they’re also from Brooklyn. Seems like the BK has been killing it with all the talent coming out of that area. The video is for their single “Evident Utensil” and directed by Ray Tintori. When I first watched this video I tripped out for a bit, thinking my computer was messed up, but in fact the video is suppose to look like this. As I am told by a rep for the band that this “is a new technique called “Data Moshing”, which is a slang term for the effect that is known as Compression Hack Fade or Compression Hacking.” Check out the video below, this track is definitely one of my favorites on the album Does You Inspire You, cop that over at Amazon for only $9.99.
