There’s been some news surrounding Will Smith’s latest project and sadly it is not to return to Bel-Air. According to sources very far from trustworthy, Smith is planning to Boom-Shake-Shake-Shake the directors chair with a modern take on 80’s super hit The Karate Kid!
Hang on, take a breath, step back from the ledge and lets talk about this for a second… It actually gets worse.
Rumors about the potential cast have been floating around that include Smith pulling a Francis Ford Coppola and casting his untalented child Jaden.
Hang on, loosen the noose and don’t pull the trigger yet… It actually gets even worse.
With no confirmation of the original cast making any sort of return the infamous Mr. Miyagi is rumored to be played by Jackie Chan! Pat Morita just rolled over in his grave and tapped the shoulder of Ralph Macchio’s career. They are starting a petition – STOP THIS FILM!
I hate being the barer of bad news but this looks to be Hollywood at its worst.
