The Way I See It is one of my favorite albums from 2008. The new video from Raphael Saadiq’s single “100 Yard Dash” premiered yesterday. I love everything about the music video as it honors the era that inspired him to compose this track.
He told Spinner Mag, “I just wanted to create something that wouldn’t take away from the song. It’s like working on an album — when you add strings and drums to the idea, you always want it to enhance what you’re doing. So this video is just another extension of ‘The Way I See It.’”
I can listen to this song all day.
