Shaun Boothe – Unauthorized Biography Series
DAMMMN! Had to start this post off with that. My mans AJK sent this through to me and I didn’t think too much of it initially, mostly because my time has been strapped this week with lots going on and thus the reason for me not being able to check this out. But get this, Shaun Boothe is picking up where Nas left off with his “Unauthorized Biography of Rakim” and is attempting to do a bio series which will consist of 12 video bios of 12 icons in 12 months.
The first one Boothe is hitting you folks with is “Unauthorized Biography of James Brown”, yes the God Father of soul and let me tell you all right now, Boothe kills it. He strategically rhymes about Brown’s life in chronological order and tells a great story while he’s at it. There’s also a video that goes along with the song.
