Woody Allen’s next film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, is about to premiere at the Cannes Film Fest.
Starring Allen’s muse du jour, Scarlett Johansson as Cristina, the film focuses on a painter who enters into a relationship with two American tourists. The incomparable Javier Bardem, who’s actually a pretty hot “manly” man when he loses his psycho killer mop, plays the painter. Relatively unknown Rebecca Hall plays ScarJo’s traveling companion, Vicky, and hot mama Penelope Cruz plays Maria Elena, the painter’s jealous ex-girlfriend.
If you watch the trailer at 1:11, you’ll notice some hot and heavy girl-on-girl lip-locking action between ScarJo and Penelope! Hola! One of the many reasons to go watch this film.
A U.S. release date is scheduled for Sept. 5, 2008.
