I don’t know what it is, but lately, I’ve been obsessing about the colour purple. Purple bags, purple belts, purple patent shoes. I’m not even purple’s biggest fan. But purple is looking really hot this season and it’s showing up in a big way, especially in accessories like this Miu Miu leather hobo handbag. The designers call it aubergine, but it’s purple. Purple.
And you thought science fiction was just for cheesy novels written by the Captain Kirk’s of the world. Maybe you thought science themed makeup means ugly facial prosthetics or weird facial implants to produce a lovely Klingon forehead. And that’s all true. But MAC Cosmetics has taken on its own spacey twist with the Neo Sci-Fi line of lipsticks, eye shadows, blushes and nail lacquer. They call it a magnetic field of hot fluorescent, with oranges, beiges, flesh tones and neutral pinks making up most of the products. It’s not exactly what I’d call fluorescent, but it has a certain appeal. I’m really actually only loving the nail polish shades, which really are hot hot hot. There is a vibrant yellow the colour of sulphur, and a shade called Plasma Blue that is fantastic. I also like the burnt orange shade. If you only get one thing, go with that. And avoid the whole Klingon thing.

WOW! Tom Green really kills it in this video. For those of y’all that didn’t know, Tom Green use to rap in a group called Organized Rhyme and released a joint called “Check the O.R.”, hit the jump below to see that video. But that was then and this is now. Tom Green now hosts an internet talk show called Tom Green’s House Tonight on tomgreen.com. Well, on this particular segment him and Xzibit start breakin’ into freestyles and I have to be honest here, but Tom Green could easily out rhyme a good 80% of the rappers out there today.
So by now you’ve either seen or heard the remixes that Travis Barker did for Souljah Boy’s “Crank Dat” and Flo-Rida’s “Low”. If you haven’t you can check it out here. There’s no denying that homeboy has mad talent and he kills it once again on the remix for Busta Rhymes “Don’t Touch Me”. Pretty dope, but yo check it out for yourself.

Aside the casual visits to Audrey Kawasaki, Edwin Ushiro or Melissa Haslam’s sites, there hasn’t been a print I’ve needed/wanted in my life lately. Aside from the peace over war theme, I am totally speechless towards the sepia colorway. Travis P’s Peace 47 print is a must own. You can cop this at Yo! Depot. $40 for 22 x 30 screenprint is a no-brainer. Meanwhile, make the leap to see a detailed shot of the print.
This is a product definitely aimed at me. I often write on the palm of my hands as post it stickies are not readily available. Or it could just be a bad habit. To-do Tattoo by Andy Ward is a safe for the skin route for myself and fellow brethren. With the lines as a guide, writing on hands, arms, or wherever can be somewhat neat. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t save me from my chicken scratch.
