What up fam, this week I’m hitting you off with two mixtapes both by Mick Boogie. The first is the hugely anticipated project with Busta Rhymes called Dillagence. Why is there so much hype around it? Cus all of the beats on this mixtape were done by none other then the late great J.Dilla. Both he and Busta Rhymes had been working on numerous projects before he had passed, Busta, not knowing what to do with these joints decided to hook up with Mick Boogie and distribute it via for free through the form of a mixtape. This explains why some of the tracks still sound gritty, as Busta didn’t put anymore work into the tracks. This is definitely a must get for those that miss J.Dilla, as the beats are the usual next level type shit. Tracklistings after the jump. The second mixtape is as mentioned above also a Mick Boogie project. For this project Mick Boogie teamed up with Nike Basketball and came out with The LeBron James 5 Mixtape. The mix features a collection of all new joints by Ghostface, Saigon, Kanye and Jay-Z. Be sure to check this joint out, if not for the music then for the dope ass looking front and back covers.
