Every once in awhile an article of modern kitchenware or storage pops up in my radar.  This is a random post as I was actually searching for a Fuct sweatshirt in s’medium and landed on Joey Roth’s blog site.  Above is his teapot called the Sorapot.  This modern day teapot goes for $179 and is limited to 300 pieces.  In order to buy one, you’d have to pre-order it with a $50 deposit.  Come February 2008, an email will be sent out to complete the transaction.

Being that I am a tea drinker, I am already tempted to paypal Mr. Roth asap.  The last time I induldged in modern livingware, I bought into Jasper Morrison’s toaster and a Sapien bookcase.  Both items, like this teapot, have blown me away with their form and function.  Make the leap to the backside to see another image.

Also, in case you were wondering how to brew tea and maintain this teapot, read this.
