Apple yesterday announced an update to their current iPod lineup as well as adding another iPod model to the mix. The nano as we know it has just gotten even smaller in size and is now available in assorted colors but stays at 4gb and 8gb. The iPod as we all know it, is now called the “iPod classic”. It gets upgrade with an all metal body and stays “classic” in black or silver. Storage for the iPod classic comes in at 80gb and 160gb, up from the 30gb in the last generation. Apple took this time to introduce the world to the new “iPod touch”, this is pretty much for all those folks that don’t want an iPhone for whatever reason, and there are alot of good ones not to get one, but this “touch” features a multi-touch interface, 3.5 inch widescreen color display, wi-fi, Safari, YouTube and a wi-fi music store. This beauty comes in 8gb or 16gb, shipping expected to start later this month. For more pictures on all the new iPods hit the jump below and have a look.
