If you listened to hip hop in the 90s, right after the Golden Age, there were a few groups that continued to push the envelope of creativity, and Camp Lo was one of these groups. Coming at us with the 70s gear, these Bronx cats blessed us with innovative production and rhyme styles. People slept on their more recent efforts, but cats need to awaken, cause Camp Lo will be dropping another album in the next few.
In the meantime, NYC cats should show love on Monday at Element. Bobbito and Rich Medina will be dropping 90s hip hip and 70s and 80s funk before the performance.
As is usual in NYC, this joint is free, so let your boss know that you’ll be a little late on Tuesday, and rock the body as they turn the party out.
