Any fan of vintage soul, funk, jazz fusion, and rare groove can fire off a list of their favorite artists. But if you ask them which white artists produced music or vocals that truly broke the racial divide, the list often includes such artists as Bob James, Hall and Oates, and of course, Bobby Caldwell. This track is a less popular song, but received much airplay nonetheless. It’s one of my top three favorite Bobby Caldwell songs.
